This new "prequel" looks like shit. Did the original movie creep you out? It gave me nightmares for a while. |
|
yea it does... when i saw the orginal i was so freaked out ...a movie like that ..sooo...ahead of its time check this out this is going to be good batman begins 2005 |
That looks good. Enough of these bright color bs batmans. A good dark one will be awsome if the story is good. |
|
When I saw the original, I slept with the lights on for three nights after that. It was a scary feeling on the fourth night to finally turn off the lights. I made myself watch it a few times a couple years later just to get past the fact... It's just a movie!!! I won't watch it anymore. To me, that is, by far , the worst thing that can happen to a human being. To this day, I don't like horror pictures. |

I own the Omen box set... but the first is the best NOW will someone refresh my memory...I saw the exorcist along time ago and the freakiest part in that movie was when the girl walked upside down on the stairs... I rented it not long ago... looking forward to that part but it wasnt on there Is there a special edition or something?

After everything people told me about that movie, I made up my mind that there was only one way I would ever watch it: At 4 in the afternoon with all the lights on. Made it much easier to handle, but that crabwalk down the stairs burns an image in my mind that I cannot get out. Scared the SHIT out of me. |
thats the scene I was talking about... it wasnt in the version I rented I guess. |
Yeah, it's only on the extended version. SO disturbing. |
WTH is she doing? Somersault down stair? |
| I saw the exorcist and thought that it was funnier then hell. I dont know why it didnt scare me, because I dont watch horror movies anymore. I was forced to watch silence of the lambs when I was about 5 and havent gone near horror movies since. I think the only reason I laughed through the exorcist was because for about 2hrs before the movie all of my friends kept telling me how scary it was, I guess it somehow prepard me. |
Are you a religous person? I have found that this movie scares more religious type people than people who may not be religious. |
she is walking down the stairs like that... imagine it. BTW I dont care, daughter or not, that thing is gonna taste some lead
|
I remember that shit very well...I was 7 yrs old and my parents decided it would be a good evening to have an outting...so off to the drive-in we go...and guess what is playing.. THE GOD DAMN EXORCIST!! I remember sitting in the back seat of an old brown/wood panel station wagon with my ass in pucker stage 1(no entry or exit). I was absolutly in fear of being dragged to the storage compartment and eaten or some other uncomprehensable evil act. I did not sleep for 2 years after that ...now everyone wants to know why I'm so fucked up...well there you are....the EXORCIST....scariest thing ever...alive or dead..real or not..I have watched it about 100 times since then...just to keep me on my toes!!!I like it now!!!sick aint I??

Augh! That didn't work in the Ring! That's why anyone that watched the tape died! I fucking HATE that movie! |
|
What we need is for somebody to start playing Tubular Bells. That will put everybody in the proper mood! And yeah, I saw it when it first came out. I pretty much avoided the Special Edition of it when it was shown on Satellite a few months back. Some of the new stuff slowed down the movie. For instance, in the original ending had the priest standing at the top of the stairs where Father Damien fell down and died. Everything else afterwards really slowed down the movie. |

I thought the Original Movie was one of the funniest movies that I'd ever seen. Especially the part where she throws up the pea soup all over the priest, his "non-reaction" to that was priceless,LOL. A couple parts of that original were kind of tasteless but none of it scared me. You want scary put on "Saving Privite Ryan" and watch the first 20 miniutes where they were hitting the beach, now that was scary. P.S. Rob Zombies "House of 1000 Corpes" will also scare the hell out of you. It gave me the willies big time and I'm usually not scared by a movie, but that one did it for me.
