As an alternative to all of the threads about the TSA, I would like to revive an old but prolifically discussed subject. The Hurt Locker. I liked it.

Quoted: It was (and I'm sorry to counter you opinion, my friend) a piece of shit, liberal propaganda message. just curious why you feel this way? I'm not former/current military but thought it was just a pretty good action/drama type movie and I didn't really perceive any anti-war message. |

Quoted: It was (and I'm sorry to counter you opinion, my friend) a piece of shit, liberal propaganda message. OK OK. You got me. I didn't really like it, I was just trying to start some shit so I didn't have to read about the TSA anymore. Seriously, who lets the EOD guys just run off into Baghdad? |

Quoted: Sorry, I'm converting to a TSA thread. Hey, did you hear the TSA is going to be charged with assault in Californian? ACK!!! No. Abort. Abort. Abort. |

Quoted: I wondered why his family didn't live on post. I know the PX is cheaper than almost anything Off Base. WHAT!? Did you ever buy any of that shit-bread the Iraqi's eat? I gave a kid a dollar and told him to keep the change and he brought me back a SACK of that stuff. |

Quoted: Quoted: Quoted: I thought it was about as good as Red Dawn. I've always wondered. Is the name "VBC" a reference to what I think it is? No, it's just a coincidence. I noticed as well that a while back. Here's to you ![]() Cool. I thought maybe you were a super proud fobbit or something. ![]() |

It's a movie. It's suppose to be entertaining. Want realism watch Restrepo. It's not like Top Gun was realistic. I was about to say, catch Restrepo if you get a chance Hurt Locker was entertaining. Restrapo is in my Netflix qeue. That was a good book (War). |

Eh, was Ok, It really was geared towards those who have no experience or knowledge of the military. I tried to put myself in that mindset, but couldn't do it. This was hollywood's (or was is Hollis T Wood's) version of the a war. I'm sorry someone with or without the experience of shooting a Barrett at 850 yards and hit a running target...give me a break. And don't get me started on wiping blood off the ammo... |
