Some people never seem to grasp the concept that high-ranking GOs aren't 19-year-old kids that marry strippers and buy Camaros. They're "CEOs" of huge companies with thousands of subordinates, and billions of dollars worth of assets (which, BTW, can pretty much all kill people). Advanced degrees are common, and most of them seem to contribute to peer-reviewed publications.
Didn't Norman Schwarzkopf go on celebrity Jeopardy way back when and just absolutely humiliate a couple of Hollywood types?

One of the things I like about him is that he knows that Zippo lighters are for lighting cigarettes with as opposed to burning down hootches
