Havent seen this series since the reruns in the 70's. I use to watch it when it came out in the late 60's.

These appear to be remastered copies..

It still a great series..

This was one of the better ones in the 60s. And Keith Laumer wrote the novel (not sure if it was before, after, or during the series). Laumer was the best.

I made it through part of an episode and had to give up. Way too slow to keep my attention by todays TV standards.

You really have to watch from the begining.  Unfortuneatly so many people have copied it over the years.

I missed it the first time around. It's the best thing that's been on scifi for a long time!

I was going to watch from the beginning, but I have too much going on today.
Its really not the material that puts me off, its the pace. Way too slow by todays standards.

I'm guessing '2001 - A Space Odyssey' nearly drove you insane?

I had never seen any episodes, or even heard of the show, until today.

Kinda cool in a dated way, though not as much as that UFO show.

when I was a little kid it kinda scared me. The landing area was not very far from where I lived, the town of Exeter if I remember correctly.

It was scary when it first came out. What gets me is everybody is smoking cigarettes. In one scene, they were smoking in the guy's hospital room...

I watched every episode when growing up except for the one where they were going to show the aliens in their true form. Mom & dad dragged me away to go out for dinner that night. To this day I wonder what they look like...

I loved the outfits the girls were wearing on UFO..

Space 1999 was a spin off of UFO. They didnt carry the outfits to the new show but it was interesting.

Today the SyFy channel is showing First Wave. It sort of a ripoff of The Invaders in many ways.

The experiments on humans and the enviroment.
The newspaper/media being the clues to the aliens being in cities by the events that happen.
1st part to a larger invasion.
Alien devices deappear at the end of every espisodes.
Alien disintergration when they die.
