Any one know wtf is going on in this show, just finished E2?

| We watched the first few episodes, but I am giving up on it. I read a quote from Damon Lindelof that basically said if you were watching the show to find out what happened, then you should move on. He said it was more about the characters' personal experiences and not what caused all of it. We loved Lost...right up until the end. I don't want to waste the DVR space for that again. |

Just watched E3, still no direction on WTF is going on, what is up with the smokers? ![]() So far, from the "why waste your breath" banners, I get the impression the smoker cult has given up on trying to make sense of what happened, and resist any attempts to restore a sense of normalcy. I also get the impression the show is less about what the people are doing now, but how they got to that point. As character's back stories fill out, we'll see how that affected other characters. |

Anyone creeped out by how the BATFEC just picks out targets and massacres them? Sounds like some of these cults have their own legal teams and become untouchable or the legal system has been infiltrated by cult sympathizers, so it's probably become easier for the feds to wipe them out rather than detain them, only to release them hours later. Just another form of desperation, something this series has no shortage of. |

Wow latest episode was crazy, why did she like being shot? ![]() I get the impression that was symbolic of her indecision toward her missing family members. She was in between believing they moved on, yet continued to keep their favorite foods on hand, as if they would come back at any moment. She wanted to satisfy the part of her that wanted to die, but wouldn't make the commitment. |

Now I'm wondering what's inside that issue of national Geographic? It seems too specific to be a symbol of something else that needs to be accepted. It was good to see the policeman and his daughter ignoring the mother. In the opening scene the asian girl mentioned something about spiders, the NG cover has an article about spiders. I have no idea what that is suppose to mean. |
| This week we got a flashback to see who the people were and how they behaved before the big disappearance. It definitely lends more perspective to some of the f'd up things in the story. The images of the deer and why the cop trying to keep a dog make more sense. I also liked how "stop trying to pretend in normalcy" existed in some form before the big event. |

Its about people left behind after the rapture. Its fucking weird i quit after 3 episodes In the first episode, it was dismissed as being the rapture because one of the characters brought up that some of the departed were real assholes. That's why it's so confusing to them. |
