I don't know if the rumors have been substantiated, but there are rumblings that all games will be licensed software (no used games). Eat a dick EA!
Sony has already announced that they will not support that. For a guy who has owned a Microsoft console for 11+ continuous years, that is pretty un-nerving. |

PS4 +1 ![]() +2 Yeah this too. I have been a ps fan since ps2. If Playstation follows through with the "no secondhand games" thing though, and Microsoft DOES let you play used games, then Sony will lose a customer. However, if Microsoft requires you to have a connection just to play the games, then fuck that too. I would probably just stick to ps3 for a while. Still a lot of games out there that I haven't played yet but want to. |

Gives the developers time to learn how to write good games to take advantage of the new power and by then version 2.0 is usually out, smaller , slimmer and uses 30% less electricity. |
| Im sorry but Sony will never get any of my money ever again. I bought both when they first came out. while yes I had 2 xbox's RROD on me I never paid out of pocket for a new one. I had my ps3 go down 2 years ago and had to buy a new one. The Xbox never lost any functionality, it gained and got cheaper. While Sony stripped the ps3 down soo much it makes the very first one look like a super computer. |

Maybe if they up the graphics capability of the Xbox then developers can quit making PC games to the Xbox standard and we can see some advancement finally. Except for PC exclusive titles or when the title is developed with the PC as the primary platform, that'll never happen. The hardware for the PS3 and XBox will already be obsolete by the time they hit the market. |
