There's a plot involving elephants, organized crime and police corruption that string together Tony Jaa kicking the snot out of everyone he runs into.  Some badass fight scenes in this one.

Outstanding movie. If you liked it make sure to also check out Ong Bak. There's supposed to be a sequel to Ong Bak coming out at some point as well.
However, I do NOT recommend the older Tony Jaa movies that also came out (two that I know of). Their quality is horrible.
There's also a movie called Born to Fight that's made by the same crew that made Ong Bak and The Protector; though it doesn't have Tony Jaa, it's still a highly entertaining action flick.

I've seen Ong Bak, haven't seen the Protector through. The stunts are amazing!

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Yes I'll admit that part was lame as hell, but the rest of the movie kicked ass.

Bump as a reminder that this is one awesome movie for those who haven't seen it.

The final scene has the 4 biggest guys I have ever seen in any movie, period! This movie rocked, especially the scene where dude takes down like 30 or so guys.

I loved Onk Bak and I loved this movie as well, the final fight with those huge gorilla dudes was crazy, and the fight with the guy with the dreads in the fire/water was insane.

Oh yeah; anyone who can do capoeira in ankle-deep water scares the hell out of me!
