You hear the term "The Republican Noise Machine" thrown around a lot now. I listened to my professor claim that Rush Limbaugh and Fox News make up this "Noise Machine" and are a huge reason for the Republican Party's support.
When I think of the media, I think of liberal-biased news. (MSNBC, CNN, etc.) It seems that these are the channels that people who couldn't give two shits about the country's direction hear. What say the hive? Does the Republican bias really dominate the airwaves or is it the Democrat bias? |

Conservative bias does hold a huge edge in Radio - especially the AM dial. Liberal bias owns pretty much the rest (TV, Cable, Hollywood, Print Media, Colleges, High Schools, etc) with the exception of a few. If this were switched around, Conservatism would absolutely be the dominant viewpoint of our country. -K |

They are just pissed because in the few fields we have been able to get our foot in the door we have dominated ratings. They call it noise because our opinions make more sense and the more we are allowed into the media the less credibility the liberal majorty in media holds. Of course without rush and fox news there would be a lot more liberalism because it would be the only poiint of view out there. They are freaking the fuck out because news print is dying and conservatism wins internet debates in any open setting and we dominate cable news and radio ratings. Before long nobody will be listening to them becase the people control the media without paper news and "journalists" who have been indoctrinated into marxism through their liberal college courses. If we can keep the government out of content control on radio , television, and the internet I think conservatism has a dominant and bright future in this country. Liberals will try hard to limit the conservatism in order for failing liberal ideas to be able to get the same ratings and we have to fight that shit tooth and nail to preserve our freedom. |

You have to seek out "right-wing" news, whereas "left-wing" news is everywhere. It is a reaction to the left's previously unanswered distortions and half-truths. Anytime I am sitting in a waiting room, all the magazines and newspapers are the publications I avoid. Even the seemingly benign magazines are left leaning whenever politics is involved. The left dominates popular culture and is intolerant of opposing views. |
