What was the whirring sound before he cranked the starter? I'm guessing a secondary electric fan to help keep engine cool. +1 Sounds like a cooling fan, the "bug" was probably driven there for the video (recently turned off) and still hot - tripping the fan when he primed the ignition. |

guy needs to learn a little finesse. all wheel speed is not the answer for every situation. Not to mention the damae he i doing to the trail, surrounding areas, spectators, near by vehicles, etc I was thinking MOST of the "trails" he was running looked like they could be done in a relatively stock Jeep, albeit slower. Looks pretty fun though. |

What was the whirring sound before he cranked the starter? Electric cooling fan over heat exchanger. They don't move fast enough, or have traditional radiator mounting, for a "normal" radiator. Neat. I wonder how you get enough surface contact on an engine with a heat exchanger to move the heat away fast enough and over a large enough area? Is it like multiple contact points and heat pipes like on a CPU heatsink? |

He has always built some badass buggies. I'm surprised he hasn't cracked his head open on the cage yet. I'd for damn sure be wearing a heltmet with eye protection.
Also, I'm waiting for him to kill an onlooker as fast as he goes with the little control he manages to keep. |

You can thank these douche nozzles for 99% of the trail closures due to incident or damage in the US. Between the Jeepers and dumbasses in MOAB and and Uwharrie, much of the trail system the Expedition crowds love is now closed.
I have no interest in rock crawling or buggies, but these ass hats are ruining Overlanding for many of us here in the states, especially the East Coast. |

Yep. |

They got your trails closed. Yours.
The Feds closed them. Period. Want open trails? I suggest you petition the Feds to sell the land to private developers with a monetary interest in having people use the land. But you won't. |

Looks pretty fun though. Not really. Most of those trails are at gray rock off road park in birmingham. Most of those hills you can note even walk up they are so steep. Video can never show the angles of those cliffs. I think that is Tim Cameron. No such thing as to much horsepower. |

They build these about 10 minuets from my house.

This is done at private parks mostly in Tennessee and Alabama. Private parks designed to host events for this kind of wheeling. As it is with most things, its the small percentage of douches that ruin it for the majority of us. There are plenty of people who wheel responsibly. |
