Got 1.5 hours in lastnight, holy slow ass character development, I figured it had to be getting close to the ending so I looked at the counter, MOTHER OF GAWD!!!! It's only half way!
That's was it, I shut it off to finish later. Edit: Title-BA |

Why did the Comedian shoot Kennedy, it's never explained. It shows his darkside, the fact that he is a hired gun and has loyalties to the Republican party (Nixon), and somewhere in the movie someone says that "Nixon let Dr. Manhattan intervene in Vietnam, something his predecessors would have never allowed." So, he did it to make sure we won in Vietnam. |

I really enjoyed the Directors cut of the film. The only character I really gave a rats ass about was Rorschach, he seemed to be the voice for the audience even though he was deemed insane by the others. He was the only sane one in the end and was the only person who was actually investigating who was killing the masks. Too many pacifists in the group not enough doers.

Fuck Ozzymandias and Dr. Manhattan. I sorta felt sorry for Dr Manhattan. He wasn't really human anymore and couldn't relate to humans in a human world anymore. His was one of the saddest stories in the film, IMO. His existence after the move would have been a lonely one. Would that bother him? Who knows? There was nothing in the known universe like him. He was the only one of his kind. Veidt? He was an asshole. He didn't care that he was, either. Of course, the same could be said of Blake. He just wasn't as big of an asshole. |

Watched the Director's cut version. I never saw the other version, so I can't compare it to that. I loved this movie. I wasn't expecting much, as I'm not a huge fan of superhero movies. This movie really sucked me in and kept me interested for all 3 hours. The ending was odd to me, but after thinking about it for a day, I like it. I really liked the Rorshach character. The chick is HAWT. The "look" of the movie was really interesting.
