The preliminaries out of the way, What giving you your mental diaper rash? Me: I forgot to pay the cable bill. They have since cut off my access to hundreds of channels of re-runs. I have since found that I really don't miss most of the shows on TV. What few New episodes I'm interested in I've been able to catch via the Internet. OK, that's not really a gripe. I can honestly say that Wednesday's episode of South Park really nailed the local cable companies. I can hereby say that I'm disappointed that Arfcom didn't seem to make a thread for that episode. |

Nothing bothering me this weekend, just lots of bullshit stacking up the last month. Have one car that needs $300 worth of parts to repair, it's just sitting in the driveway. Another that I need to do maintenance on before my wife drives it to OK in a few weeks, about $300 there too. Usually this isn't a problem, but the wife and I were both down for a week sick. So we had to shell out cash for doctor visits and prescriptions, as well as missing days at work. A month previously I missed a few days of work due to a knee injury. Four doctors visits, an X-Ray, and an MRI (as well as co-pays) later and I need another knee surgery. Still waiting on the bill for the MRI and the last visit to the ortho. So, yeah. Fun few months. Can't wait till this shit is over with and we're caught back up.  |
