| I can't keep track of how many places I've done business with, credit cards I've had, military records, etc, that have been hacked and data compromised. It's always the same message. "Yeah, our stuff got hacked and your data stolen. To compensate, we're going to pay for a year of ID theft protection." I never sign up for that shit. I bet I have at least 10 free years of it now. The email I just received was from Scottrade. I haven't used them in years, but they were compromised recently. Back to cash and carrier pigeon for me. |
