Welp, Ordered some shit today. Have a spare lower sitting around since I sold the upper, decided to build a new upper.
Ordered all the shit today and expect it all monday. Have : BCM BCG, Stripped upper blemished, extra aimpoint pro. Ordered: front sight base, front sight base taper pins, front sight post, DD 14.5 light middy barrel stripped, midlength gas tube, magpul middy handguard, battle comp 1.5, brownells front sight bench block, barrel nut, and delta ring kit. I have done a few builds and feel confident with the easy stuff but this time I REALLY wanted a super light rifle with the neat looking front sight base. Unfortunately I'm still new to this stuff so I was unaware you have to have skill and tools to pin the front sight base. Seriously considering letting my buddy work on it, provided he lets his friend who is a manufacturer help him. Other than that, waiting for the mail....... CSB from a guy killing time at work. |
