Regarding the shootings in MD a number of people have suggested the possibility of them being the work of terrorists. Does anyone know if Oct 3rd would have any significance to these people? The Yom Kippur War began on Oct 6th, were there any significant events a few days prior to that? |

i seem to remember an article recently, not sure where, that discussed several significant dates in october for possible terror action. i can't say the 3rd was one of them, but do recall some day close to the first week being significant. perhaps someone else will have seen it as well. |

Battle of Mogadishu, Somalia. 3 Oct. 93. We now know that Aihdid was being directly funded by Al Queda, and that they are still there today. I wouldnt put it past them. I am not saying that this whole thing DEFINITELY is terrorist related, but, since there are so FEW details, why in the world is the media and the authorities (I use the term very loosely) so quick to rule out a possible terrorist connection? (Yes I know the answer. Dont want to alarm the sheeple, and as I said before, if it is made publicly known that is does turn out to be terrorist, people would empty gun store shelves across the nation, and future gun restrictions would have a very hard time getting passed.) I do not like how this thing is turning out though. Very disturbing. |

"The purpose of terrorism is to terrorize". These assholes have managed to do just that and should be prosecuted...and I don't mean in court...as such regardless of any ties to AQ or any other group. He, or they, are sitting somewhere right now laughing up their sleeve. Of course the gov and media are going to downplay any such angle and the anti's will use it for their own ends, but even if they are Maryland "home boys" these ARE terrorist acts. |
