I found that a couple weeks ago. Now if you can find a glock around enumclaw i will trade you. This doesn't involve a stallion somehow, does it?
Was the guy in the OP trying to impress the hippy chick by burying the rifle or showing it to her |

Was the guy in the OP trying to impress the hippy chick by burying the rifle or showing it to her No, but I am curious as to how a cajun knows about barnyard antics of enumclaw. |

An AK after stomping on it once or twice would work fine.... hmmm a Henry stuffed in the stock with a little love would work too.
This is a job for a guy with some time, perhaps a hint or two from the OP and metal detector! I'm curious what condition it would be in. |

Quoted: As the story is told, a buddy of mine buried my beloved AR-7 takedown rifle near some railroad tracks in the town of leavenworth WA in order to impress some beyotch anti gun hippy chick. I hope the hairy patchouli smelling poon tang was worth it........ I lent him the rifle because he had none, and I figured I'd get it back. I was wrong........ Now through a strange series of events, its still out there, taken down and wrapped up in seven hefty sack garbage bags and much duct tape...... For 9 long years it has been there, and I officially invite anybody to find it for their own! I should post this in the WAHTF too, let the search begin!!!! It's long gone... that's a lot of hours. I wish I had some money for a good metal detector ![]() |

Details my buddy just sent me! "Two feet down, about 5 feet west of a set of wooden steps leading up to the railroad tracks across mainstreet from the peshastin market." Shit I'd love for somebody to find this! Shit just got real. Hell, I've always wanted an AR-7 Anyone got a metal detector I can borrow? |

A buddy of mine buried his AR7 on the range in Yakima because he was only allowed two personal weapons on base in the early 80s. He couldn't find it when he went to dig it up, so there are two out there in WA.

Hey, It's a free gun basically up for grabs, all I ask is pics and details! If it was within 300 miles, I'd drive up there and spend a weekend looking for it, believe me. |

Intersection of Pine Street and Main street it looks like. In one of the google maps pic, there's a guy/girl in BDU's walking away from the camera. My jaw dropped, too. The description looks pretty legit. Someone better grow a pair and go down there with a metal detector next weekend or I will be very upset. |

That'd be awesome if an Arfcommer found it. Hope the process of digging it up doesn't attract too much attention Is that a richard scary avatar? Man walking down the street sees another man with a shovel digging "whatcha doin'?" Man digging: while blading at 45 "you will not touch my AR7!" Man walking down the street crosses the street and thinks to himself "what the f**k is that crazy guy's problem?" |

I loved Leavenworth when I went there a couple years ago. I would love to go again and have an opportunity at the end of May. Extra motivation... Well damn if I drive 5 hours and lots of diesel fuel I better get a shit ton of internet points. Looks like I may have to take a trip here towards the end of the month. |

Go digging in the wrong area near railroad tracks and someone will call the police on you. Try explaining that you are trying to dig up a gun. With the way society has gone the last few years, someone will report you for setting an IED etc. They'll report you for trying to steal something maybe...wear an orange vest and you're good to go. Bonus points of putting up cones. Do you think that John Q. Public has any idea what an IED is or that they are usually buried? Not a chance in hell. More people can find the welfare office than could tell you what an EFP is or what country Helmand is in. |

She hated guns, found out he had a gun, so he tried to impress her by burying it with the good intention of digging it back up later and returning it to me, but he had to leave town. Hell no it wasn't me! Yeah, I knew it wasn't you. That's quite possibly one of the dumbest things I've ever heard of in the quest for pie, and that's something. Quoted:
