Good grief, after buying this I watch it several times a week while eating dinner. It's just not getting old.

George: I'm giving you a choice. Put these on or start eating that trash can.
Frank: Not this year.

Gilbert: The world needs a wake up call, gentlemen. We're gonna phone it in.

Bearded Man: We could be pets, we could be food, but all we really are is livestock.

Liberal Bitch: [into her wristwatch] I've got one that can see!

Frank: So how you gonna make it?
George: I deliver a hard day's work for my money. I just want the chance. It'll come. I believe in America. I follow the rules. Everybody's got their own hard times these days.

One of John Carpenter's best.  Right up there with Big Trouble In Little China and The Thing.

I heard it's in the works for a remake but without the sunglasses??  Don't know many actors who can pull off the "bubblegum" line.  Maybe Bruce Campbell?

Lordy, what?? A remake???

Actually, it might be ok if they get a good director and actors. It is a cheesy B sifi after all. I like Bruce, but I'd lean toward The Rock, or Dwayne is it nowdays? I'm not a pro wrestling fan, and didn't know of Roddy or Kieth before I saw the movie. They were big fellows, and once the fistfight started, I went ooooh, wrestlers!! I thought they did a great job acting. I guess pro wrestlers get a lotta practice acting in the ring.

I read the short story the movie was based on. Not much to it. Without the glasses, how will it work?

I was at a sushi resturant and Roddy Piper came in and sat next to me....I told him that They Live was the greatest movie ever made.

And he was pretty drunk/wasted too.

I remember my Dad sitting down with me and letting me watch this film when I was about 10.  I became the nerd that I am thanks in part to that awesome film.

I still DVR and watch it a few times every time I see it come on.

Love that movie. Bought it on DVD several years ago, and no, the bubble gum line never gets old.
