They work for US, as in the USA and Us as it's people.
Who?

The US Congress

At some point we must force them to vote on bills as all stand alone.

They complain it would take too long.

What they really mean is they would have to actually work for the $178,610.00 per year we pay each congressman & senator.

Plus a very large expense account that dwarfs what we pay them.

This is where the pork gets cut, this is where the slimey underhanded deals hide from public view, in a packed multi bill, bill.

It's hard to hide underhanded shit when all bills stand alone.

Political favors are exposed to sunshine in that way.

Now for the final nail in these crooked fuckers heart.

Make them all, every fucking one of them read a bill before they are allowed to cast a vote.

The obama  heath care bill, the affordable care act is about to implode in 2017 and collapse in on itself from the shear wt of it.

They will claim they didn't know it was coming , I read the ACA in part and I am a lay person and could see it is doomed.

These morons sign bills on others say so.

Who in their right fucking mind signs bills with out reading them?

We need to pick some do nothing congressman who is weak and primary his ass on this very issue.

Send a message to congress we will no longer stand for idiots NOT doing their job

Agreed.

Also require every bill to have a sunset clause.   That way they spend more time reviewing each old bill instead of creating new bullshit.

Balanced budget or nobody is up for reelection.

Shit will get fixed real fast.

The problem starts with no enforced term limits.
Too many people say the house is broken, when what the should really mean is corrupt.  Yet these same people all say their their guy is great, and never vote them out, perpetuating the problem.

Congress can control every dollar spent, the chairman of a committee can even with hold funding from the agencies he oversees in an extremely targeted way. They can also call for the impeachment of the people they have oversight of, as well as anyone else who has sworn an oath.

The fact is congress is fucking captured.

They don't work for us. They work for their fascist paymasters.

Almost everyone in Congress needs to be sacked.

Get back to me when you have an idea on how to force them to do all this.  The Constitution has no teeth, and none of us have the guts (yet) to enforce it.

Seems familiar.  Not sure if it will work out better this time.

Not just no, but hell no. Sometimes the only way for pro-gun bills to be passed is by attaching them as riders to some other must-pass piece of legislation. If pro-gun bills had to stand on their own, they would never get passed. For example, what do you think would happen to the riders that prevent the CDC from conducting antigun "research," or that prevent the ATF from spending money to computerize Form 4473 records?

People that suggest such things have no clue as to how the legislative process works.

Term limits are bad for the pro-gun side. The reason has to do with the power of seniority. Who gets the committee chairmanships? People who have been there for a long time. Since congressional turnover is less in rural (conservative) areas, congressmen from those areas have disproportionate power.  This is good for us.

Sometimes I wonder why people on "our side" are so insistent on shooting themselves in the foot.
