Waste of a good apple pie. BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a woman hit U.S. Sen. Carl Levin in the face with an apple pie during the Armed Services Committee chairman's meeting with constituents in northern Michigan. Levin's office says that near the end of the meeting Monday in Big Rapids, the Michigan Democrat took a question from a man who identified himself as a student. Levin's office says the man read a long statement, then a woman came up and hit Levin with a pie. Big Rapids police arrested 22-year-old Ahlam M. Mohsen of Coldwater on assault and disorderly conduct charges. Police say charges are possible against the male student and a woman who videotaped the pie attack.
