I was listening to the radio yesterday and the discussion was covering rogue nations (North Korea and Iran) and the acquisition of nukes. The EMP effect was described as a "time machine that would instantly transport the affected area back to 1860." I got thinking about an article I read last year that called EMP devices the poor man's nuke. You don't need to build a full-scale, bona fide thermonuclear device to generate an EMP pulse. Considering this, and that the war against Preparation should assume surviving in a pre-electricity type environment. It should also take into consideration the chaos and mayhem that will come when the sheep get hungry. |
