Anybody know of some good software to do the timelapse stuff?  I'd prefer free but if I have to pay I will...does gimp do it?

Do you mean to control the camera or to put all the photos together into video?

I have a Nikon D80 and I'd love to find a intervalometer for it...There's an app on the iphone but you have to have a computer attached to the camera.  


My original question was for software to tie all of the pics together into a movie.

I would suggest quicktime pro, but if you need a free one try virtualdub.
