Is the Tippman 98 custom still the default standard of the general paintball world. I'm aware that there are fancier and more expensive guns on the market, but is this the git r done go to gun that will always be supported and accessorized?

I think there is the custom pro now which may have replaced it. I personally havent played for years but if i was going to start over again i would get a tippman x7

Tippman 98 Customs are very good guns I own five of them and four of my friends also have them. Not one problem from any of them yet.

tipmanns and automags seem to be almost unbreakable just keep them oiled and there shouldnt be any problems. that is why most people use these as rentals
