Having a safe delivered this week. Is it good manners to tip the guy(s) that are making the delivery? I figure having 800lbs of fireproof delivered warrants it, but not sure.

What say you?

Are they dropping it at the curb or taking it into the house?

I got a couple buddies to help me with mine so never had a safe delivered but I did have my washer and dryer delivered. It was a 2 man crew and I gave them a $20 and told them to grab lunch on me. They took it upstairs and carried my out units downstairs so it was worth it to me

Delivering and placing it for me. I don't have a pickup and have no one to help move it, currently. I'm thinking $50? That'll get them lunch if it's a 2 or 3 man crew.
