I do feel bad for the 19 year old who, by all accounts, was trying to please his dad and the wives and children of the others HOWEVER that's where my sympathy ends.

On top of all the other ironies, the NAME is yet another irony. Not only did this end the same as Titanic for pretty much the same reasons, but to also do it in a vessel with pretty much the same name ..
