Titus with Anthony Hopkins - came out in 2000.

It's a film of Shakespeare's Titus Andronicus. Brutal and bloody.

Anthony Hopkins as Titus is the definition of Ruthless. Int he end he has his revenge, and everybody looses.

Good stuff!

That was a very strange, yet oddly enjoyable film.

Also, it's LOSE, not LOOSE.

Am I the only one who thought this thread was going to be about Christopher Titus's show?

I wasn't expecting the modern twists at all so at first I was , then I got the message.  Shakespeare is great drama and transcends time.  It works wether the senators are wearing togas or suits, or the centurions are carrying swords or 870s.

Good flick.

I loved that show...the episode where they are on the plane and Homeland Security interrogates all of them had me gasping for air I was laughing so hard...

Richard III and Titus Andronicus are my two favorite Shakespear plays. I asked my Dad his favs and he said MacBeth and Lear. I wonder what the hell that means about him?

It was surely an odd one. When they were eating the pie I got a stomach ache.
