You have a stripped lower receiver.

You have $575.00 for December's Rent, plus $190.00 remaining in checking to pay for bills/food/boots for the winter (It's snowing like mad here in MN right now).

Do you charge up a $400.00 kit to finish the rifle, and make payments to card company?  Or do you wait until you have more money?  Or not finish the rifle at all until X-mas?

I might be financially F'd if I do buy it, then again, I do expect a paycheck on Dec 7...  What would you do?

I was a posterboy for the evils of credit cards.  I learned (and am still learning) my lesson the hard way.

Don't buy what you can't pay in cash, or you'll just end up having to sell it and still pay the finance charges.  It's like paying 15% (or more!) to rent your gun until you pay it off in full.

Buy it.

Wait too long, and everything becomes illegal.

If you buy it now on credit it will be like paying 15%-30% more than the list price, if it is still worth it in your mind, go for it.

Depends on your financial situation. If you put it on a cc, pay it off as soon as you can, no more than four payments.
If money is going to be tight, don't do it.

Never have an amount on your CC which you cannot pay off each month.  Its like throwing money away.  If you are so inclined, throw some my way.

Nothing like being 40K in CC Debt...ask my wife how to do it! I'll charge a small fee to have her teach your wives how to put you into serious debt!

When you apply for the loan on your future house and get denied because of your shitty credit you are going to curse that AR.

Credit cards are nothing more than modern day financial slavery.  As others have pointed out, it's like throwing money away.  Also, I'd NEVER use one to buy gun parts.  You never know when that could be used against you.

Wait until you have the cash. It's too cold to shoot anyway. Unless it is going to take years to gather the cash. In the short term, I do not think any of your needed parts will become illegal.

I guess the general consensus is to wait...  Okay.  Thank you all...  I have a severe lack of common sense, so I must borrow that of other peoples' once in a while...  Thank you.
