He should rely on the decision of the judge and jury in the original case. He has no grounds on which to amend the verdict or sentence. Tookie had the opportunity to be a stand-up citizen long ago. Instead, he chose a life of crime and thuggery. He was caught, tried, conviced and sentenced for only one of many crimes he perpetrated in his "career" as a hood. While it's of the slightest comfort to learn that he has seen the error of his ways, the past cannot be changed. See you in Hell, Tookie.

The real problem here that's going to happen I believe will be some limited violence and rioting by the gangs or by men of color who feel this somehow has to do with race. The terminator can kiss my ass if he lets this guy live. |
