| Is simply OUTSTANDING.... If you don't watch, you should... That is all... |
|
Quoted: Quoted: IN before the butt hurt who complain he bashes the US too much Clarkson for PM and President... The people who think that clearly don't watch Top Gear, Americans don't get made fun of NEARLY as much as the French and the Germans do. He has a penchant for setting the SatNav destination in German cars to Warsaw. ETA: New series needs to hurry up and get going. |

Looks like the season starts up Thursday, 9/30. From their website:
Next on: Thursday, 19:00 on BBC Three Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May immerse themselves in the world of classic cars to find out if they really are, as the anoraks claim, more fun than modern machines. Armed with a budget of 3,000 pounds each, they attempt to buy a pre-1982 car at auction. Rather than undertaking a series of challenges to see who has got the best deal, the trio is sent off to Majorca to take part in one very big challenge, a seemingly unfathomable classic car rally. Also in the show, Jeremy drives with dinosaurs in the new BMW Z4 and Nissan 370Z, and rock god Brian Johnson is the Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. |

It's all good fun. |

Thats from season 13. Season 15 is most recently aired season, they're still filming 16. |

Quoted: Good show, anyone know of a streaming site of episodes? Streaming? Right here |
|
By far the best "reality show" on TV.
Not really looking towards the US version when it comes out later this year - just don't think you can get the chemistry that Clarkson, Hammond and May have - and that is really what the show is about - not really about the cars. |

Quoted: So was watching the new season episode (season behind) with the reliant robin. I wanted to hear the A-Team music and you know what? They changed it to something else. Absolutely killed the segment. We have different rules about music and copyrights than they do. |

I love the one where they're going up against the German car show and the Germans want to have a competition. So Clarkson suggests they do it in the skies over southern England. |

Jeremy Clarkson is funniest when he's ranting about the mistakes built into every American car, even as he's trying desperately to hide the huge hard-on he's sporting while having way too much fun in a CTS-V, Mustang GT, or Corvette Z06. He's at his best when he's in Pompous Ass mode. Watching that show makes me want to take a professional driving course and learn to drive when some of the wheels aren't in full traction. I have no experience with that. CJ |

Quoted: I have no experience with that. CJ Snow is a good tutor for that, as are dirt and gravel roads. Getting a vehicle loose on pavement requires A LOT of power and A LOT of speed. But, until you no where the limits of grip are, and how your vehicle behaves once those limits are exceeded, you don't know your vehicle. |

But, until you no where the limits of grip are, and how your vehicle behaves once those limits are exceeded, you don't know your vehicle. Good starting place. for sure. Going to a hardcore go cart track helps too. I've been driving fast cars and doing two and 4 wheel drifts since I got my license, but DAMN those little cart tracks are fun, and cheap! Saves wear and tear on your own stuff, and gets you used to performance driving. |
|
Snow???!!!??!! Yeah....that's gonna happen, here in central Florida! ![]() Rain is possible. But my car is FWD and although it has adequate power, it just isn't geared for a burnout. On dry pavement it'll barely twitch the tires from a full stop if you stomp the throttle as fast as you can. (Automatic transmission, too.) I guess I'll just have to learn in a RWD car with more power behind it. CJ |

Quoted: ETA: Notice Jeremy is holding a hammer while his car is being worked on. It is his preferred automotive tool. ahaha, I watched the episode where they try to make some failure of a European minivan (That all three of them loved) go really fast. And they can't get the hood up for some reason. Somebody: Where's the thing? Clarkson: Should I get a hammer? Hammond, May: Noooooooooo. |
