Went to the house for lunch and noticed our new backhoe was parked on its side. One of the guys working for the site crew thought it'd be okay to park it on top of the pad. Out of the 40 acres out there, he chose the dumbest spot.

I see no pad, what caused the area he parked it at to be the worst spot? It all looks flat to me.

In the second and third picture, you can see the pad in the background. It's not rolled yet, so the edges aren't stable. The operator said he parked it, got out to eat lunch, and it simply fell over about five minutes later. The bank of the pad just gave way. As of today, the pad is 100'x100' and about 3-4' high.

Here's the only other pic I've got, taken from my truck as I rolled up.

You ought to change the title to "Operator Fail"

I'm going with he was speeding around and it tipped over.  I'm not buying that it tipped on that little incline.
