I posted a Schecter Jeff Loomis 7 string for sale on Craig's List and I got a trade offer from a guy with a Genz Benz El Diablo 100. Do any of you know anything about these amps? There seem to be mixed reviews on them.

I've never heard one in person, but what I could dig up on Google, people either love them or hate them. So I would definitely try it out before agreeing to a trade.

I've been listening to a Genz Benz for close to 20 years on one album and still can't get that sound with my Marshall, Boogie, or Frankenstein-cabs.

I'd love a Benz cab if it came around at the right price.
