I have a question for you math folks out there.  Is there a book or resource out there to help me pick up some basic trigonometry for some machine work.  Thanks.

Try a textbook. Your local library should have them.

Google around

There are a lot of trig calculators online and aps.  Do you have an Iphone, Ipad, or Android device?

Or you could buy a used text book off ebay for a couple bucks.

If you live near a college or tech school , find the school bookstore - they sell used textbooks pretty cheap

I used the 4th edition of this book to learn trigonometry.  I thought that it was a great book.

As others have mentioned Machinery's  Handbook. "Carr-Lane" had a small book with the basic formulas. Good for most basic machining operations.
There book may have been a handout to promote the clamps they made. Was handy to keep in the tool box so that the Handbook didn't get all messed up from greasy fingers.

Here is a free drafting program that is a lot like AutoCAD.  It could be useful for you.
