Called scambaiting and yes, it can be alot of fun if you got the time.  I have a couple burner hotmail/yahoo email accounts back from when I used mess with them.

Since OP didn't give a synopsis, I will.  A comedian receives an email from a Nigerian Prince type scammer.  He describes to the audience using a power point presentation his back and forth with the scammer.

Pretty funny!

Hilarious.

There is a few websites people have setup where they have epically trolled email scammers. You can spend days invested in that stuff.

Two things.

1.) Worth the 10 minutes

&

2.) Since when did Andy Dick turn British?

Excellent.

Not bad.  I do like the trolling from the past where they basically send the heaviest junk they can find to the scammer on the scammer's dime.

Two things:

1) great post from OP.  Thumbs up and fist bump smilies if I could make that work. I tried and all I could get were drunk guys and head bangers, but here's to you!
2) the YouTube video is by the user name TED.  Lots and lots and lots of great vids that require actual brain cells to appreciate.  Some very good stuff there that gets really deep if you're into that.

A former coworker, Reazul, was from India and got taken for approx. $10k via one of those scams.

You would think that someone from India would be well aware of these email scams, as quite a few originate in India.

Nope.

I nearly hurt myself when he put up his chart.

That sounds incredibly unsafe lol

Don't those guys often force innocent people to do their bidding like receiving the wire transfer?

I had one Craigslist guy trying a scam on me... When I finally realized what was going on, he  was asking for my contact info. I took a coworkers advice and gave him the number to the local FBI field office.

Never heard back...

I liked the ones where they would have them hold up signs to prove they were real. There was a guy who asked for a picture with a fish on his head. Got it.

Awesome.

Need to send this to my dad....he used to make telemarketers so mad when they called that after he'd hung up on them, they'd call back just to cuss him out.
