I'm building a new home and finishing out the bar/game room myself. I have a floor mount urinal planned for the restroom. I ordered a $700 floor mount urinal from Amazon Prime and it came in a box with zero packaging and it was completely destroyed. I called Amazon and they humbly apologized and shipped me another with no questions asked and no shipping cost to me. The second one came the same way. Basic box with no packaging and completely destroyed.
Fast forward three weeks. I am on urinal #6 that has come completely destroyed. Amazon just apologizes and sends another. That's over $4200 in urinals! They don't seem to give a rat's ass. I actually bought a urinal locally for a few bucks more but I am still having Amazon ship me urinals because I'm curious on how long they will play this game. I wonder if I can get it to $10K or maybe $20K in urinals? My wife thinks I'm crazy and being an ass but I give zero fucks. Urinal #6: Attached File |

So what are you doing with the broken ones? I was here when UPS brought the first 5 and I refused them because of the broken porcelain sound coming from the unopened box. Urinal #6 came earlier than normal and I wasn't here to refuse it. Amazon emailed me a UPS label to ship it back. I just dropped it off at a UPS center. Ha! |

Do that enough and Amazon will cancel your account (and any other accounts logged on from the same IP) and block IPs/addresses associated with it, and not refund a dime. As far as I can tell, they just use an algorithm based on proportion of orders to returns/complaints to decide who lives and who dies. Google it if you are interested. Just wanted to give you a friendly heads up. |

Sometimes their packaging confounds me. They just shouldn't sell some stuff.
I saw some nice beer glasses a few months back, so I figured they would package them sufficiently and mail them. I got 3 of 4 smashed beer glasses instead. They took the thin cardboard packaging you see bar glasses in, wrapped it in a 20x20 inch piece of paper, and put it in a much bigger cardboard box. I had the minor hassle of going through the return process and having to drive to a UPS center, but part of me thought- for every 10 of these they sell, 6-7 must have at least one broken glass. They should not sell these. I wanted to do an experiment and order another set to see if they were broken too. You are doing this experiment, but it's costing them $700 each time instead of $12 |

I don't think anyone keeps track of anything at Amazon. Â A couple of months back I order a set of splash guards for my Tacoma. Â The sent the email with tracking and due date.(Prime) Â I checked it on the day due and still showed on way. Â Stayed that way for 3 days. Â I finally messaged them that they never arrived and they overnighted another set. Â When I went to my dad's to pick them up there were 2 sets. Â Still have the extra set and the tracking still shows first set never delivered, but somehow returned. Then last week I ordered a tonneau and floor mats for same Tacoma. Â Both were Prime. Â The tracking showed tonneau was due and arrived on due date. Â Floor mats showed where shipping but managed to arrive later same day. Â Few days later floor mats still show preparing to ship and I get a credit back to my card for entire order amount. Â Well today I see a charge for the floor mats and now they show shipped and delivered, but I guess I got the tonneau for free. Â |

I know you said your give no fucks, but this is from a buddy of mine who is one of those bean counters at amazon....
"They will keep doing this until the vendor says something. It's the vendors fault this is happening, but he will lose good will for future things that aren't black and white." He might lose his account if it keeps it up. |

I like how you think. Eventually a number cruncher will catch it and someone will get reamed. More likely they'll decide OP is replacing them with broken urinals and reselling the ones shipped then come after OP for the cost of the urinals and shipping along with a dog-status-check from local LE. |

He refused 5 out of 6, that'll be noted in all shipping logs. In order to refuse you cannot open them. So he's covered for 5 of 6. |

Where are the pictures of these destroyed pissers?
Coworker ordered an in-house sauna for his parents last year. About $3k for a 3x4 wooden room that steams up. Had a glass door on it, and it was shattered when it arrived. Amazon took it back, sent him a new one that was also shattered, took it back, then on the third try it was GTG. Amazon gives zero fucks about returns and wants you to have the right product. But as someone else pointed out, you take advantage of the generosity and they'll blacklist your ass. Really looking forward to seeing how far this goes. |

Except that he's already refused the delivery of one of them. Can't really claim he's "changing them out" when he refused to even take one of them. |

Send it back of course. Okay, that's asshole-ish. Making them resend it until you get an unbroken one is one thing. Intentionally making them send something like that repeatedly when you have no intention of keeping it even if they get one to you intact is fucked. |

Are you leaving packaging feedback? They always ask me for packaging feedback. Even little stuff that shows up in envelopes. They actually do look at the packaging feedback it seems. I ordered some food that I keep ordering each month. Some of it would be crushed. When I left feedback about it, the stuff started arriving over packaged. Lol |

LOL at the idea that either Amazon or local LE would give a rat's ass. The most Amazon would ever do is close OP's account, and I doubt they'll even do that in this case. |
