Whether GD likes it or not she's the NY AG…. elected by the people of NY and the "top cop" in the state. The bar to remove her is pretty high and most certainly either the NY GOV will have to do so or the DoJ will have to charge her….and perhaps that's exactly what she and the DEMs want….another 4 years of distractions so that the Trump administration never gets around to actually doing something good for this nation.

Because once the Dems are off their heels, which they are already are starting to do, that's exactly what's going to happen.

They're going to continue lawfare to diminish Trump's effectiveness and and distract this administration. Hopefully Trump learned from the last time around but quite honestly there's not much he can do unless the people of nation demonstrate that they have had enough of this shit. That would include not reelecting these opeartives which is some cases has already started, e.g. Gascón in LA losing. So maybe there's hope….Trump won the popular vote and hopefully this new Trump administration is smart enough to leverage that as a "mandate", not only in actions but also in effective messaging.

What the next 4 years looks like is anyone's guess but I can say for certain is that getting continually worked up into a masturbatory frenzy over AI videos isn't helping.

I'd say it does more than distract. It undermines. If a lawyer is caught on a hot-mic then whatever. But if they're consciously projecting a public message in that style then I'd want them nowhere near my side of a legal dispute. There's no room for Bush-league shit at the highest levels with the highest stakes.
