I dont see that as a good thing Hawking all sorts of things for personal gain based on being the President shouldn't be a thing I've adopted a similar approach. Trump was the wealthy outside who couldn't be bought and was supposed to change things. "they" got to him and broke him as well. Massie was the only US Rep saying "We need to reign in spending" and got ousted because of it. I've campaigned for politicians, donated to politicians but now my sentiment is also "fuck it". The people are treated as puppets and I've got better (selfish) things to do with my time and money. That's not good for the country either. I'm not saying Trump is the problem, he's just another casualty of the political system we have. The wealthy elites control the senior level politicians of both parties, including Trump now. Politics works from the top down and there is no way the little guy can work their way into the system and then up the chain without being compromised or ignored. |

Their behavior is going to be a lot different if they believe they have absolute power. They will change the supreme court to put a stop to the second amendment forever. I'm not exaggerating. They will amend the second amendment to take away individual rights to own guns. I mean, if anybody actually cares about the 2A in America. |

I don’t like to get into generational warfare because the boomers didn’t design the post WW2 system, their parents and grandparents did, but they sure took that mistake and ran with it, enabled it, and expanded it to crazy levels. Hopefully, the establishment dies with them or we can hope at least. |

Oh no I got it, I just don’t agree with it and the responsibility for those failures mostly belongs to the system and cultural landscape that the boomers have championed. The light is the glimmer of independent thought we see in many young men and the impending death of mainstream establishment media, not a trait I’d ever ascribe to the boomers generally speaking. |

No matter anything else, no matter what b*******, they tell you about responsibility. No matter what they say about people on welfare, that's what they're voting for their own personal welfare. At this point. Here is the problem with "sending a message". All politicians below the senior level are also puppets. Politics work from the top down. People like Mitch McConnell have appointed people to every branch and layer of the US government. He has influence over what they do or don't do or who they support. Mitch himself answers to the wealthy elites who fund all the super pacs he controls. Mitch gave money and positions to people the elites wanted. Voting out the little guy in Congress does not change the top structure or influence of the political system. Nothing changes overall, in the short term one agenda gets promoted more/faster. Then in 2008 I remember people here saying "let it burn" after the FSA elected Obama and expected him to put gas in their cars. I don’t know… without Clinton Newt Gingrich would never have become speaker and the fiscal conservatives wouldn’t have taken center stage. Without Obama there would have been no tea party and no MAGA 1.0 (Trump’s first term). Elections have consequences and if we don’t vote out the incompetent politicians in our primaries, the only way to vote them out is the general. I’m not proposing staying home or voting for Democrats— I personally will be voting for the conservative candidate in every race (I’ll probably vote for the IAP candidate in my safe R house race), but I can completely understand and defend the logic of short term loss of seats to correct course in the long run. MAGA 2.0 has proven to have no guard rails in terms of principled conservatism and we may need to lose an election to get back to fiscal sanity, respect for the constitution, and see the GOP move away from these ruinous policies making life hard for the average American. |

I haven't talked to anyone excited to vote for him. They will, but aren't excited. |

Good the porous border has been reigned in, and good that USAID was gutted, and yay we got some NFA taxes down to $0 at the expense of the OBBB. First, i love how you attempt to minimize THE most critical things damaging our republic at the moment. Those the items- uncontrolled illegal immigration, tax fraud on a massive scale that is literally funding the liberal opposition, illegal aliens and every lgbtbbq gas light operation you can think of, and then the biggest positive 2a shift america has seen since before Reagan. I can sympathize a lot with the perfectionists who wish for somebody better, but i absolutely cant abide by the person who takes those absolutely critical policy advancements and minimizes them to inconsequential talking points. Look, i get you dont like his deals, and gas prices are basically your bumpstonk 2.0. He should done this and that to Iran. You (still) dont like his tweets. Omg $5000. Fine. But none of that will kill the country. The shit youre minimizing will. Liberals getting access to unlimited tax payer money will kill this country. Unrestrained immigration will kill this country. Shitting on the second amendment will make us Spain II. And the part of this y'all really really need to get through your heads is you need a Trump- however distasteful it may be -before you can get somebody better. No. You dont have to like trump. At all. But look past your goddamn nose and realize the long view. Great, shit on trump. Dont present a unified front. Im sure those boarders will remain super closed under the next liberal shithead. Im sure billions worth of liberal social programs wont be funneled into their warchest. Surely they will prioritize 2a rights just as they have all a long. And for you accelerationist and your insurrection fantasies, lol. I hope youre willing to loose generations- your sons and daughters -to the civil war you all fap about while typing your rebuttal here with something along the lines of lol emoji 4dchess. Out. |
