1. If race, sex, et c. are not reliable markers for distinctions that could reasonably justify decisions in hiring, retention, and promotion, how can they be reliable markers for distinctions that justify diversity as a consideration in hiring, retention, and promotion?
2. If it is impossible for a white male to possess the understanding necessary to judge the actions of women or people of other races, how can a person who is not a white male judge not only the actions but the motives of both contemporary white males and white males who died decades or centuries ago? |
