Hi all
Drunk Two questions: 1. I want a home theater. My attic has tons of space, but where I would put it has a large engineered wood beam that is strong enough to be a ceiling beam, not a floor beam. Would need engineer workup, modification, etc. Would it be cheaper to get engineered drawings, and remodel the attic, or simply build a new building behind the house as a home theater? (I have a huge backyard, and it could look great as a separate building (would add in other things, ie a gym, garage, etc.) 2. I want an outdoor kitchen. My question is: I see people with their BBQ utensils hanging. Do you pre-clean them prior to using them? |

I think you are looking at $70 - 100k to get a theater/garage and outdoor kitchen built depending on particulars in your area. Of course you could spend a bunch more than that too. But is it cheaper to do an attic remodel considering it needs structural upgrades or a new outdoor building? |

Post racy pictures of hot women since you're drunk. Then I'll answer. ![]() I agree with him on this. Photos first. http://s29.postimg.org/5zt9qaf8n/c6756b9676c6b9295567d6fffcbc24cc.jpg The advice you're going to get will be comparable to the quality of the photos. Example: this photo is worth "You're going to need to buy some speaker wire" |
