Didn't find any current UAV threads in here either.

But the mission is pretty cool and we do some interesting things I never did in the Strike Eagle. All in all tho, I'd rather be back in a real cockpit. Unfortunately this is the wave of the future. |

The company I work for makes the Shadow. I got to work a little bit with the crew trainer and saw some of the capabilities. It doesn't carry weapons, but it's a pretty cool system.
We also did the Pioneer, which from what I've heard will be replaced by the Shadow. I heard a rumor that the JSF has a provision designed into it for the aircraft to later be converted to a UCAV. I don't know if that's true. |
