Quarrying and moving a 100 ton stone is nothing special with modern tools, the larger stuff is going to have a long lead time, but up to 200 tons is not unheard of, and they will be far more precise than anything in Ancient Egypt. 50-75 ton is more common for precision ground granite. We could certainly do something like that, the question is why would anyone want to? The questions surrounding how they moved stones at Sacsayhuaman is a little bit confusing to me, at least for the downhill portion, uphill is tough to explain. It's a technique that is still used today at quarries that are on top of a mountain without road access, they make a flat path and let gravity take the blocks down, they bounce and spin and it's fun to watch. Sometimes they will bounce off the path and get abandoned in place, just like we see down in Peru. I think time may actually be speeding up. Twice now in just the past days I’ve had to reset the oven and microwave clocks because they were behind the time shown on my phone and they have always kept near perfect time. I set them ahead of my phone yesterday and today they are nearly a minute behind. . As strange as all this sounds. Maybe we truly are moving into a new sort of space and time as the video I posted spoke of and things are going to get weirder and weirder from now on.

A brownout or power surge can cause them to get confused, and you need to unplug them for 10 minutes to reset them to get them working properly. It could also be dirty power, the power coming into your house isn't 60 hz, that should affect all the clocks in the house though. The oven should be on it's own circuit, so that should rule out another appliance causing issues, IE: a refrigerator going bad causing noise on the circuit when the compressor turns on. |
