Quoted: their website is bogged down right now so I can't even tell how much it's gonna cost I'm assuming if they're going to give me 15% off the raising prices by 30% If their website doesn't automatically scale with user demand, somebody needs to be fired and replaced. Figure it out. |

Quoted: When I ordered a .22 conversion bolt and 4.5" barrel back in August, it was a backorder and they didn't charge my card. Their email says they are now charging immediately. Check your statement to be sure they charged you before. Their email REMINDER: Your existing order with CMMG will disappear on March 21, 2022. If you use this code to re-order before then, you’ll maintain your place in line in our backorder queue. If you choose to wait to place a new order past the 30-day window (March 20th) then you will be placed in the back of the production queue in the order it is received. On their website now. Starting Feb. 17, CMMG will charge your card at the time of order in order to help speed up order processing. Why the change? Our old process resulted in fulfillment delays due to credit card companies allowing a 30-day authorization window before expiration. Lead times in the firearms industry far exceed that authorization window, and getting updated payment information has caused many issues. Therefore, CMMG has decided to charge at the time of order starting on Feb. 17, at 12 a.m. EST. Same here, ordered a .22 upper last year and they didn't charge me. It never shipped though and I cancelled they order when I found another at Right to Bear arms. |

I use to order all my LPK's from CMMG. Ordered 2 20" chrome lined 1-7" barrels to do an A4 clone and an A2. Parts shipped very quick. Hadn't ordered anything else from them in about a year though. Always had great service from them. Seems the Banshee line of rifles has snowed them under. |

Quoted: I make toilet paper. Supply chain for that is teetering pretty close to fail right now. This is not to cause you to go out and buy, but to illustrate something that is near and dear. Everything is vulnerable. LGB. @WI_Bill dude you need your own thread about this….and off to the store now ![]() |

Quoted: Been really interested to get an RDB bolt and barrel and make an integral out of it. $500 for a 9mm barrel and bolt? Fuck that shit. Same here. Was told over a year ago that I could order one (8 inch RDB combo) and my card wouldn't be charged until it shipped. Since they couldn't tell me what the wait time was I didn't order it. RTB also had it for $50 cheaper but of course they never had any in stock either. RTB increased prices too but its still only $399 instead of $475. |
| Howdy neighbor, I use them for transfers sometimes. |

Quoted: I just want to put my lightning link in a banshee and shoot full auto 7.62 x 39 Love my Lightning Link in my 5” 9mm RDB. I just wish I had a better can for it. I have nice 9mm pistol cans but I don’t want to beat up my TiRant’s, Evo’s or Tundra’s aluminum baffles with full auto. So I got a crap YHM cobra on it because I don’t care if I blow that piece of shit up... but it just won’t die... |

Quoted: Been really interested to get an RDB bolt and barrel and make an integral out of it. $500 for a 9mm barrel and bolt? Fuck that shit. In all fairness, $350 was a pretty killer price for a barrel AND a matched bolt For a delayed PCC action you can drop into any AR15 builders kit. The alternative delayed actions are all $1000+ CMMG will sell all they can make at ~$500 |

The alternative delayed actions are all $1000+ CMMG will sell all they can make at ~$500 You're assuming they can actually make them in sufficient quantities to meet demand which they haven't been able to do. Now they claim they are a "build to order" company. |
| I have an old cmmg 1/9 wasp barreled upper that I got just after they stopped the barrel bin bargains or whatever. I hit up both black rifle shops they had in Columbia. I hit up the Booneville store every now and then. Last summer I think I got the last 10.5” 22lr cmmg upper. Last time I stopped there wasn’t much cmmg stuff |

I would hope most people realize in the 2020's, anything you order on back-order, is a major roll of the dice. And anything you order on back-order, with pre-payment, is a hope and a prayer crap-shoot. If you have been hoping that pre-2020's policy would be followed on honoring agreed to price, term, and ETA, let this be a reminder that those days are not with us right now. They may return, but that won't be next week either. While I appreciate that suppliers pricing and materials delivery schedules themselves are chaotic, and they are faced with either massive losses vs customer ire; decision have to be made: I do agree that I take a dim view on companies that take payment, hold payment, and then renege. I've been burned by that myself, and lesson-learned. |

I've been burned by that myself, and lesson-learned. It is a roll of the dice but these companies have been moving product all this time. In the case of CMMG they took his money way back when. That's bullshit. I've owned a retail business that's been massively affected by these backorders and supply chain issues. As soon as the backorders started going past a month or so I stopped taking money and treated all orders as if they were unpaid layaways. When an customer's order get's close to being shipped to me I call them and see if they want me to still get the item or if they have changed their mind. I make sure to let them know they're under no obligation. Prices have gone up across the board massively and I pass those price increases along with very clear information that I am not increasing my profit at all and none of my suppliers are able to honor 12+ month old pricing because of the instability. If the customer wants the product and is willing to pay the new price I'll get it in. If they don't want it then I thank them for their time and tell them I understand and apologize for the situation. What I don't do is take their money up front with unknown delivery dates. |

Friend ordered one, waited 5 months before he got it. First range trip was full of bulged brass and a kaboom with factory 124 gr. Several e mails and parts sent from cmmg and still had problems ejection, the classic cases that you can find here. Finely went back to cmmg and they had it almost 3 months, every time they sent it to test fire and shipping it failed. Finely got it back with a video of it shooting 4 full mags with great extraction and no malfunction. Appears they replaced the barrel and bolt. It’s going up for sale in a couple of weeks. Great idea, I just don’t think it’s ready |

Im confused about something, So now they have new stuff in stock, but they didnt bother to make the stuff for the back orders first? Sounds sleazy Sounds like they did it so they could raise prices since people backordered stuff when it was cheaper. Way to take "care" of the customer. How many customer did they lose with this trick? I bought one of their 45 ACP barrel and bolt RDB kits. I dont think I will be buying anything else from them. |

Quoted: Im confused about something, So now they have new stuff in stock, but they didnt bother to make the stuff for the back orders first? Oh no, everything is "available for backorder" since they are a "made to order" company now. Their new "streamlining and optimizations" are supposed to cut down on wait time but they have not announced to anyone what the reduction will be, if any. Those with backorders got a chance to reorder with a 15% discount on a 20% price increase and they still won't tell anyone when any of their products will actually be shipped. The guns they brought to the Gunnie awards or whatever on Youtube probably represent the only stock they have available. |

Quoted: No response from last Friday's email so I called again today just like I called again last Friday, 28 May I will keep you updated If you have the time for a phone call a few times a day maybe you'll get lucky. Otherwise it's going to be time to get a lawyer to write a letter demanding they either produce two guns or one gun and a refund for the other or just a full refund of both guns. They've had plenty of time to respond. Did you try their Arfcom sponsor Industry page? @CMMG @CMMGinc |

I now have been charged for a August order and a February order. 2/25/22 edit 2.0 2 phones call and 3 mails and no communion (other the how to order more vaperware) or refunds yet Dear Chas8008, Today, CMMG unveiled an all-new 2022 product line-up, which has been well over a year in the making. With the introduction of these new configurations (each built with enhanced components), our previous models are now discontinued. Because you currently have an existing order with us, we are emailing to communicate next steps. Please know that we will still honor your position in our backorder queue and that if you have been waiting an extended period of time, your place in line is safe with this change. We do need you to take action, however. Since your previous order cannot be fulfilled as is, we need to know if you would like to cancel your order or if you would like to keep your place in line and change your order to one of the new models. For those who stick around, we are offering you a one-time promo code for your new order. To receive your promo code and instructions, simply click UPDATE MY ORDER below. (You will receive a follow-up email containing the discount code and instructions.) To keep your place in the production line, you will need to place this new order within 30 days of this email. If you choose to wait longer than the 30-day window, you will be placed in the back of the production line in the order your new purchase was received. If you choose to cancel your current backorder, simply click CANCEL MY ORDER below and no further action is required. If no action is taken by March 20th, your original order will be cancelled on March 21st. We understand this is a frustrating situation and apologize for this inconvenience. We do appreciate your business and your patience, and we hope you seize this opportunity to be among the first to receive our new product line-up. They will contact you via email to confirm your order and get updated payment info just before your order goes to the factory floor. If you want to back out at that time you can. They won't just charge your card after a year with no warning...their payment system doesn't allow for it. |

That this was a backorder and you have proof and that they have acknowledged the previous order won't happen is evidence for a chargeback case. You ABOSLUTELY have the grounds for a chargeback and it looks like you have the evidence. Here's the key: You need to type this all up, include copies of the evidence you have, include all the dates of attempted contact, and put it in a LETTER and MAIL it to your credit card company. It's a pretty open and shut case. |
