Speaking of PSA and the NRA, something that irritates me is the donate to NRA option on PSA's site. I don't care if they want the NRA there but I wish they offered options for other gun rights organizations too. I imagine the organizations are missing out on a ton of funding from people who would donate but refuse to fund the current NRA.
If you guys see this, I hope you can find a way to improve that feature and further help the movement.  |

If you all ever consider expanding to Northeast TN or Southwest VA, I would love to help make that happen. There is a really nice building that Cabela's (now empty) built a few years ago that would make a great location for you all. It is on the I-81 corridor (on the VA side of Bristol), and a PSA store with indoor range would be a great compliment to the Hard Rock Casino that is being built just down the road. If you prefer a TN location, there is an expanding development on the Bristol TN side called The Pinnacle. It has a Bass Pro shop currently, but your store with an indoor range would be a huge hit. Both locations are right off the interstate and roughly 2-3 miles from the Hard Rock casino location. Bristol is known for the Nascar track and for being the birthplace of country music, as well as the "State Line" street that divides the city between VA and TN. Shoot me a PM if you want to chat. |

I have some PSA lowers tucked away but not much else from them at the moment. But shitting on them because you move to more expensive or more specific stuff misses the point. PSA fills the most important role of any of the manufacturers I am aware of, they make it a stated goal to arm as many people as possible. That is what ensures the future of the second amendment. Nothing does a better job of preventing another AWB than putting scary looking rifles in the hands of as many people as possible. That gets them invested, they don’t want to lose them to some stupid law. When I retired from the Navy in 2020 I even applied for a QA position based on their stated goal on the web site. I never heard back before accepting another role, but as they expand out here I will do so again. It’s a mission I whole heartedly believe in and think will go a long way to ensure my sons receive the same protections recognized by the 2nd amendment that I have. We don’t need to eat our own in this industry, the market is plenty big to go around. But arming the guy making 25k a year is just as important as arming the one comfortably into six figures. -Mike |

First, thank you PSA for making the customer whole in a way that shows you truly care. That response was about the best that anyone could ask for.
Second, I'm glad you are tackling the more pressing issue of ammunition availability. Clearly there is a market for it. I'm concerned though about the materials. Are y'all making primers and smokeless powder in-house too? I still don't even know why we rely so heavily on foreign countries for this stuff, but have y'all overcome that issue? |

Also if expanding ammo production is difficult, expanding primer production is a nightmare. So far no one has figured out how to automate it, so you have skilled labor all the way down. And then getting chemical feedstocks is difficult because they've been run out of the country. And then the additional layer of .gov trouble because you are manufacturing hazmat. |

The IMI 262 clone usually gets between 1 and 1.5moa with either and frontier 75s are sub minute with one, 1-1.25 moa with the other. The IMI 193 has produced as large as 5.5" groups at 100 yards. Maybe its a shitty lot, maybe my G barrels just really don't like 55 grain bullets. At the distances I typically use this ammo, its nowhere near enough of a difference to make a difference. |

(minus the last 50 years of fucking it all up) sometimes a dogpile is the only way to get something started. the polite, rational discussion comes after. the dogpile was needed, and psa came forward with the polite, rational solution. there is a place, and need for both. before i forget, screw your daily deals!!! how much ramen can one man eat?!?!?!
