For USAF folks who work Egress Systems (ejection seats, canopy fracture, etc.).

Do you use a -2 series maintenance TO for the ejection seats and related systems, or do you use manuals from the manufacturer (i.e. Martiin-Baker)?  If you use -2 TOs, what is the system number?

Privet of the month award.  let them  sit in the seat  and pull the eject handle      only on a zero-zero   seat...

I recall the manuals were aircraft model specific, such as 1F-4E-4-5 covering non-avionics cockpit systems including the ejections seats.

Depending on the airframe and equipment, it could be a combination of both. But what do I know... I work on RPAs. We have systems that require work but we don't always have a TO for it so we use guidance from the manufacture or a previous TCTO.

In particular, the T-6 and its Martin-baker seat.
