So, I'm sitting in my office and my son runs to the door yelling about he mail lady, who in the truck at the mail box. So I tell him to go get the mail.
He runs down, chatters at her for a min and then returns with a few bills. And said it's a different mail lady. Three minutes later I get me a delivery notice. Well, she didn't get out of the truck and walk up to the door like the normal mail lady. So, I walked down to see if it was in the mail box ( it's my 16" Faxon pencil barrel that I've been waiting over a week for, so it should fit in the mail box) and see nothing. Again, the delivery notice said delivers to the front porch. Nothing ion the porch, so I went to the garage. Nothing there either. I walk to the neighbors house. Nothing there. What do you do when this happens? Why do the always fuck up the expensive deliverys? |
| I have had package delivery to house on next street over with same house number. I found postman in neighbor hood he came back to my house said he thinks he delivered it. I told him I just couldn't start opening mail boxes looking for my item. He did go find it on the other street. It would be up to the person that's honest to give me my package if the postman didn't find it that day. |

I actually did hop in my car and chase her down. Apparently this lady does it backwards form the other one she (other side of the street first, then us) so she just passed by and I caught up with her.
She dug through the truck a bit and then said sorry, I don't have it. She remembers my son going down and chatting with her, but has no idea what happened to the package... |
| Call your local post office and speak to the postmaster. I have done that many times and the guy has been amazing to work with, let me come in after hours to pick up a package the carrier said couldn't be delivered, has been able to locate a package that they said was delivered but never was (I was outside in the front yard working the whole day) he came by at 8pm to deliver it personally and apologized profusely. |

Well, update. She came back to the house about a half hour ago and she found it!
Attached File She said it fell between a couple of bins in the truck and when she had finished her route, she found it wine stacking them. |
