Will someone please explain this to me? The USSC ruled the 10 Commandments cannot be posted on any govt property while being used as a religious promotion. The ACLU has long since sued to stop any Christmas natavity scenes on govt property. Ok, whatever, I don't agree with them but that's the law, ok? Then WHY are laws allowed to stand that prohibit liquor sales on Sundays & Holidays or selling alcohol within 500 feet of churches? Not that I agree or disagree with any of these laws, but they're wholly condictory to each other. Someone smarter than me please explain why the beer & liquor laws are allowed to stand? |
