Installed it yesterday. First version of Linux I've found that works with my Acer wireless adapter. I have it setup as dual boot with Vista.

Seems to work great so far.

Firefox plugins are also just as easy to install as with windows.

I just need to get this thing up to speed with playing DVD's and MP3's.

I think it will be staying on this laptop for a long time.

Ubuntu, and most of the Linux community for that matter, is really staying on top of driver releases now.  I run Ubuntu and Apache/MySQL/Perl on quite a few production web servers.  They're also offering plenty of cool enhancements that make it usable for your average computer user.
