My wife and I brought some strawberries to a neighbor, who happens to be one of my shooting buddies. While I'm there, naturally David and I start talking about guns and shooting. David comments that he and Kevin (another shooting buddy) took their wives shooting recently, and that David's wife really enjoyed shooting the .22's. David's wife, who was close by, asked, "which were the .22's?" David, "The scoped rifle and the Browning pistol." His wife, "Oh, those two. Those are mine now. "David: Me: ![]() Poor guy. The shooting community just got a bit larger, but now David will have to replace two of his guns. Oh, btw, my wife and I both noticed that David's wife looked tons happier than she'd looked in months. Just goes to show that shooting is good medicine. |
If her improved demeaner/countenance carries over to the bedroom, David is being more than compensated. Plus, you're right that he should be able to replace the two guns. What made this so shocking is that Mrs. David is this shy, sweet, super soft-spoken gal. You should have seen the impish delight in her eyes when she claimed the guns for herself. |
