Pretty good, fairly close to the book; book of course has much more detail.

It's OK, but they pretty much cut the last third of the book out, and the prison camp stuff was pretty glossed over.

Yeah. The book was great, but the movie really missed the whole point. Instead of an amazing story about a man's triumph over evil, it was just "Hey, watch how much this guy suffers for 2 hours"
