Fuck it.

If Biden and Harris are inaugurated I’m retiring and moving to the mid-east.

At least there I can own fully automatic weapons, though my actual need for them may be significantly higher.

To the posters of guns apparently found in shops in mid-east markets (e.g., the Type 97 in Pakistan) isn’t gun ownership tightly controlled (and not by holding on with both hands) by the upickem.shithole.gov?

Fun fact: early FG-42's used shortened Mle. 36 bayonets. Later ones used purpose-built bayos.

I look forward to checking this thread everyday. Very cool, but it makes me despise this country even more.

Dupes are fine homey....nobody else is starting, and maintaining such a fascinating thread.

Keep doing what your doing, if anybody complains they voted for Biden, and should get banned!

I thought I saw one in the photo that had a grease gun and a bunch of other stuff hanging in a shop a couple pages back.  At least it looked like the receiver for one of a hi-point carbine.

Kind of a retarded question, but how would some random dumbass who is not .mil affiliated ask to see stuff like that?  The guys at Fort Wainwright have deployed all over so I'd imagine they have some neat stuff buried.  Some 'no touchy' archival photography and history of stuff would be a fun project for me.

I'm really not sure. Maybe go to the museum and strike up a conversation with the curator. After showing him that you're not a jackass, explain that you'd like to put a photograph collection together of 25th ID bring-backs for historical purposes and see how he responds.

Fair enough.  After the holiday I'll see if I can get a hold of someone on post about it.  Probably message their PAO guys as well and see if they have thoughts.  Thankfully you can still get visitor passes to post.

I get periodic unsolicited emails from some MG dealer, IIRC, last email had a 93r for sale for $96k.

*edit: disregard, it was a transferable Browning HP MG for $93k.

Also: the AK:  the guy next to him has his fingers on the barrel; probably thinks he’s “tapped into the magic.”

ETA. Of G19's...  With the replacement of a readily obtainable part, G19's then became select fire. Cost of part was then about $2-300. (G18's were rare.)

We would get previous graduates coming through the Baghdad Police Academy under false names, so they could get additional uniforms and Glocks to sell again. They would get turned over to MOI and only God knows what happened to them.
