these are counterfeit glocks???

Some of this stuff is COMPLETELY home made. Some made in a guys garage, some made by small well equipped mini factories, but much is also original manufactured OEM weapons purchased legally thru arms deals, smuggled, raided from armories, stolen, sold by troops, etc.  You have people in the USA caught all the time trying to ship night vision, thermal, optics, body armor , weapons etc back to the shitholes they originated from / to their friends, or favorite terrorist group.

You'd be surprised at the amounts and types of ordnance that have been copied that way in Pakistan, Syria, Libya and Yemen.

It’s not like the Caribbean nations where any camouflage is unlawful and of course,if Russia decides they want to send Spetsnaz in our uniforms they’ll just make them.

Much more than trying to infiltrate they’re wearing this stuff as equal parts functioning the same or close enough to other militaries and “monkey see, monkey do” which is where hanging as much Chinese stuff off your gun comes in...not like anyone in the US  with a bargain basement AR buys stuff like knockoff handguards and sights,a super quality optic  and outfits themselves in Chinese made gear though right?

The only thing keeping the same stuff from happening here, weapons factories in every garage, smuggled grenades, belt feds, raided armories, soldiers stealing shit left and right...is stability, trust in the system, etc

The dems are working 24/7 to destabilize the country, and lose trust in voting, courts, gov etc.. to win support for socialism. That same destabilization and loss of trust can turn into lots of other nasty things.

Are all those grease guns from various armored vehicles we sold/gave to countries in the region after WW2?  I know that ~140k thompsons went to Russia in lead-lease tanks, so it could be a similar source.

It's not really freedom.

It's the anarchy of a warzone combined with survival of the fittest.

They have really cool weapons, but they aren't toys. They're tools for survival survival.

Not saying we shouldn't be able to own them, just that I don't want to need them.

I can own machineguns, silencers, and rocket launchers too....

Having running water, a functional power grid, and not having to worry about stepping on an IED on my way to Publix kinda trumps being able to buy a cheap DShK ....

Great thread by the way.....love the shorty ZB-26's.....

I'm trying to find the pics that came out of the middle east when they found a pallet of 1889 Model "World Standard" bronze-jacketed Maxim guns.....

I guess that raises the question of can we have the type a freedom that we say we want, the minimal government intrusion and access to all manner of weapons, without the lawlessness that we see over there?

We did before the 1900s mostly.

That was before the great society, the NFA, social security, the war on drugs, prohibition, and national police like the FBI.
