Not getting into the whole story, but FUCK them with a rusty barbed wire encrusted, AIDS infected cactus with angry fire ants crawling all over it, while they are being shat upon by a herd of elephants with dysentery.
I will NEVER fly these assholes, or any of their partners, ever again. |

They forgot to cater my flight from Nashville to Denver. So yeah...
|
|
They are at the bottom of the pile leaving out of my airport. Delta, American, United in that order with Delta being about 99.9% of the flights people take.

Quoted: Some context… To and from Japan, they have cancelled, delayed, or bumped every single flight and rerouted me. I am on day 3 of returning to Texas from Japan. Customer service is absolutely useless. View Quote Which airport and destination? I've flown them dozens of times from Chicago to Narita. Have a few code shares on ANA thru Denver. My experience has been nothing but positive. |

My take on United customer service is that they hate their employer so much they are willing to take it out on the customers.
It's a bad situation every which way and is best avoided. |
|
They have stranded me at SFO more times than I care to recount.

All the airlines suck.
I used to fly American, then they pissed me off multiple times. I switched to United and have had better luck with them. I don't have issues with their customer service but I'm 1k with them. |

View Quote I’m actually Platinum, (or whatever their top tier is) with American, and have never had customer service issues with them. All airlines have issues from time to time. Mine started with United from the time I arrived at the airport in Austin, and have continued with every leg along the way. It’s all about how they deal with it, and United has had shit for CS the entire trip. I travel quite a bit for work, and this is unquestionably the worst experience I’ve ever had in over 25 years. |
|
Yeah, of the "major" carriers, United has been by far the worst in my book. I'll never fly with them again.

View Quote well put. When I used to travel I got their super duper credit card with the club access. The club customer service is OK. Plus you can eat their snacks and drink their beer while stranded. |

United usually make the list of the Top Ten Most Hated Companies every year.

I couldn't even imagine booking a US carrier for a trip to Asia. Book EVA or JAL next time.

I have to say that they were excellent. The moment UA touched the trip it was fucked. I won’t spend a dime with UA ever again. |

Every airline is going to fuck some percentage of their customers on any given day. The system is designed to work on a perfect, clear blue sky, all computers are at full functionality, the FAA in DC doesn’t throw enroute restrictions on any airspace for seemingly no reason, no airplanes are broken and all the employees show up healthy and in a good mood every day. Oh, and President Potato and the Ho aren’t flying to BFE to lie about something.
That’s the ONLY way the system won’t fuck anyone over. Probably. Maybe… TC |

Yep. ANA, typical of Japanese culture, shows they have pride in taking care of the customer.
UA showed me how much they take pride in how much they suck at customer service. |

I usually fly American for work because they have direct routes from my airport to where I usually have to fly.
Delta is probably the best overall, but everything here has to go through Atlanta and that sucks. Southwest is great, but they don't fly everywhere. Wasn't really impressed with United when we used them. |
|
I have a stack of 8 different boarding passes from the return trip alone…and I’m not even home yet.
I’m going to tack them up on my cork board in my home office as a reminder never to fly them again. |

Fuckers tried to get me yesterday when the plane was late getting to Omaha. Only had a hour layover in Denver so they auto changed my flight for my second leg to Missoula, only problem was the new flight was for this morning. I’m not getting stuck in Denver for the night when I can drive 45 minutes home and sleep in my own bed. Said fuck it I’m driving out there instead. I have a lot of bad stories with United in and out of Montana. They always start in Denver though.

|
Read something recently that estimated 14k pilot openings but only 4-5k graduates yearly. Cancelations and high fares will only get worse.

Finally made it home.
I found it humorous that, as an apology for fucking me over for 4 days, that United Airlines offered me a $10 voucher for food at the SFO airport. That paid for a cup of coffee. Curiously, they didn’t offer a voucher for a hotel when their late flight stranded me in SFO overnight. I’ll have our company travel agent send them my hotel and dinner bill. |
