Using a mac for the first time for any length of time and I must say I'm loving the command button shortcuts.
They seem more intuitive then keyboard shortcuts on a windows system.

Of course the doubleclick takes more effort so that may be one of the reasons I'm relying on command shortcuts more.

I use a two button Logitech mouse on my Macbook. I just right click on the link and it offers me the option to open links in a new tab.....

command + "T"  = opens a new tab.  

command + "L" = highlights the address bar

Turn on multi-touch on the touchpad and you just use two fingers to do a right click...
